It is brewed using celebrated ume (Japanese apricot) "Benisashi", crystal sugar, alcohol and famed natural water from the sacred mountain Hakusan.
Aged for more than two years, it has both a rich taste of ume as well as a light and refreshing taste and clear flavor as it glides down the throat.
Kaga Ume-shu was selected as the best in Japan by the special Saturday column "NIKKEI Plus Ranking". It is served in first class on international airlines and it is served as a digestif at the Nobel Prize reception.
